Lacewing kids camps are fun-filled and educational. We focus on skills your kids are building during the school year through strategy games, STEM challenges, and the arts. Our fun and flexible camp lets kids explore other worlds, create larger than life art installations and become mad scientists all in one day! When campers arrive they can choose from four different clubs to join that day.
MINI CAMP CLUBS
We challenge your kids to take a small idea and transform it into a large large scale art installation. This club is designed to stretch the imagination, build teamwork and create something big from start to finish.
We open the door for kids to learn the craft of storytelling. In this club, we introduce the different styles of storytelling; from fables and tall tales to short stories and movie scripts and each day you kids practice writing a story all their own.
We launch your kids into different worlds with the chance to develop good sportsmanship and teamwork. Through tabletop board games and role-playing games the sky’s the limit on who your kids can become or what your kids can do! They can settle uncharted territory, terraform Mars, banish outlaws in the Wild West, run a successful farm or become double agents seeking to claim dominion over their opponents.
We encourage your kids to take part in age appropriate science experiments and activities. They will explore the natural world around them and discover how it all works together.

TYPICAL CAMP DAY
Our morning camp starts promptly at 9:10 am and our afternoon camp starts promptly at 1:30pm. Please arrive on time so that your kids can participate in all our activities.
All campers begin their day by selecting a club that will carry them through the day.
In the second half of the day our full-day campers are encouraged to stick with the club or project they started in the first half of the day but they can try a different club when the afternoon campers arrive.
Just before it is time for parents to arrive, kids will have a chance to showcase what they have created.
